On April 20th a short one hour drive from Dallas to Ennis, Texas brought us to beautiful Bluebonnet fields.”The bluebonnet is to Texas what the shamrock is to Ireland, the cherry blossom to Japan, the lily to France, the rose to England and the tulip to Holland.” (quote by Jack McGuire)
To get this field of blue, you have to plant seeds in the fall when spring thoughts are distant. If you need a little reminder, we will be happy to oblige. In October we will remind our readers to plant Bluebonnet seeds.
And remind you to purchase a field.
And to paint the gate.

Very clever-on way to buy my field now!
if you find one, let us know so we can help with the bluebonnet planting!
GORGEOUS!

It truly was and made me so proud to be a Texan!
I need all of those reminders. But, why don’t you supply us all with a field?!
Jennie
They are beautiful, can I have them instead of grass? All we have are weeds, anyway!
Awesome idea, here are some mighty good directions for growing bluebonnets here: http://www.wildflower.org/howto/show.php?id=1&frontpage=true
